One of the most widely used entertainment technologies worldwide is television. Today, practically every home has a television set in it, and it has become fairly common. We can see how it was called the “idiot box” in the beginning. This was primarily due to the focus on entertainment during that time. There weren’t as many educational channels as there are now.
In addition, the craze attracted many individuals to spend all of their time watching TV as a result of this development. People began to think it was dangerous because kids were drawn to it the most. In other words, students did not study and instead spent much of their time watching television. The television channels altered, though, as time went on.
