Brazil’s top three goalscorers of all time

Brazil has produced a number of world-class goal-scorers, but the country’s top three
3. Ronaldo – 62 goals

Ronaldo is another Brazilian who has gone on to great success after playing for both Santos and Real Madrid. He was part of Brazil’s 2002 World Cup squad but did not play in any matches because he was suspended after being sent off in a friendly match against Turkey.
The first Ronaldo played for Brazil in 99 games and won the World Cup in 1994 and 2002. Additionally, he twice won the Copa America and played a crucial role in each campaign.
Fans referred to him as Il Fenomeno, and he started his career at Cruzeiro before transferring to PSV Eindhoven in 1994. Ronaldo moved to Barcelona and Inter Milan due to his excellent play before making the dramatic switch to Real Madrid.
Ronaldo played 177 times, scored 103 goals, and won La Liga twice during his five years at Madrid. Ronaldo’s career stalled due to his weight problems, and he retired at Corinthians in 2011.
The three-time World Player of the Year is currently Real Valladolid’s owner and also participates in charitable events. Ronaldo became a worldwide icon due to his ability to finish with pace, power, and accuracy.
2. Neymar – 75 goals

Neymar, who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain and is the most expensive footballer ever bought by a club, has scored 243 goals in his career. He is also one of only two men to have scored more than 50 goals in a single World Cup tournament. He is also the youngest player to have scored 20 goals in a single World Cup tournament.
With 121 matches under his belt, Neymar will likely finish his career as the leading scorer in Brazil. Although Neymar has yet to help his nation take home a major trophy, they have a strong chance of doing so this year.
Prior to being acquired by Barcelona in 2013, Neymar began his career with Santos. In 2017, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain.
Neymar has dominated the local game, and a World Cup victory with Brazil would be the pinnacle of an outstanding career.
He has long amused fans by mostly playing as a winger and is still dominant with PSG. Neymar, who is only 30 years old, is young enough to manage another World Cup, but he will be hoping that he won’t have to wait another four years for another chance.
1 Pelé – 77 goals ( Brazilian legend )

Pele is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers ever to have played the game, winning three World Cups with Brazil between 1958 and 1970 and scoring 758 goals in his career. He also holds several other records including most international caps (203) for Brazil and most goals (77).
Between 1958 and 1970, Pelé played 92 times for Brazil and captured three World Cups. He is recognised as one of the best players to have ever played the game and spent practically his entire playing career with the Brazilian team Santos. Although his career goal total is debatable, he has scored more than 600 goals for Santos in as many games.
Together with other exceptional athletes, Pelé was the phenomenon that catapulted his nation to international success.
Despite never playing for a team in Europe and just spending a short time with the New York Cosmos, he was well-known. He was a player that went above and beyond the game, and it wasn’t until he took the field that football gained the moniker “Beautiful Game.”
